The book was authored by Jack Mitchell (1882-1954) of Mitchell Caverns fame and was originally published in 1964 under the title Jack Mitchell, Caveman.
This expanded second edition is new in several ways. It contains many historical photographs, a foreword by renowned desert historian, Dennis Casebier, a chronology of Mitchell Caverns, selected reading list, index, and more. This special limited edition book is hard bound in beautiful Colorado red leather with stamped gold lettering and Ted Jensen artwork on the cover. The book is printed on high quality paper, contains 176 pages and is 6.75" X 9.5" in size.
