DENNIS G. CASEBIER LIBRARY DEDICATED
11 October 2008. The dedication ceremony for the Dennis G. Casebier Library was held today at the Goffs Cultural Center. Honored speakers included First District County Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt and Mojave National Preserve Superintendent Dennis Schramm. The Library is a replica of the historic Goffs Santa Fe Railway Depot (1902-1956). View images and read about daily progress at our blog.

Good Samaritans of Death Valley GOOD SAMARITANS OF DEATH VALLEY PUBLISHED
8 October 2005. New publication released. A true Death Valley story, neglected for nearly a century, about the efforts of a man and his dog to rob the desert of its menace. STATE APPROVES $500 THOUSAND FOR
MOJAVE DESERT ARCHIVES CONSTRUCTION
19 May 2005. The California Cultural and Historical Endowment (CCHE) has approved $500,000 for the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association to build the Goffs Depot / Mojave Desert Archives Library.
